Christine M. Cusumano joined Devitt Spellman Barrett, LLP in September of 2020. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Cusumano was an associate at an insurance defense firm on Long Island for more than eight years. Ms. Cusumano has handled all phases of civil litigation from inception through trial involving motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, property damage subrogation and workers compensation claims. She has conducted numerous depositions and arbitrations and has substantial experience practicing before the courts in Nassau, Suffolk and throughout all five boroughs of New York City.
Ms. Cusumano attended Fordham University, where she received a bachelor’s degree in English. She graduated cum laude from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 2011. While she attended law school, she was a member of Law Review and was selected to serve as a research editor. Ms. Cusumano is admitted to practice law in New York, New Jersey and the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. As an associate with the firm, Ms. Cusumano focuses her legal practice on civil litigation, including the defense of premises liability and labor law claims.
