Nicholas M. Brino- Partner

Kevin M. SpellmanAn attorney with both trial and appellate experience, Mr. Brino has handled all phases of litigation and related matters for a number of insurance companies. He has handled hundreds of cases from inception, defending the interests of residential and commercial property owners, including premises liability issues, labor law claims, and property damages subrogation matters throughout the New York Metropolitan area and upstate New York.

Nick has been involved with the firm’s municipal and school district liability caseload, focusing on general liability, premises liability, playground accidents, and assaults by fellow students. Mr. Brino also has experience with motor vehicle accident litigation on behalf of the firm’s municipal clients. He has also assisted on complex litigation matters involving nursing home malpractice, highway design issues, police misconduct, and wrongful death claims.

During his time at St. John’s, Mr. Brino served as the Managing Editor of the American Bankruptcy Institute Law Review. In that position, he was responsible for assigning work to and managing a staff of up to 30 fellow students.
